Supporting the Irish community with passport application witnessing as a courtesy to the Irish Embassy
This is not a priority service. We provide passport witnessing as a courtesy to the Irish Embassy, and our office prioritises work for the Irish Centre. Appointments cannot always be guaranteed. Please call 0113 248 0887 before visiting to check availability.
We offer a witnessing service for Irish passport applications as a courtesy to the Irish Embassy. This service is available to members of our community who are already at the witnessing stage of their application process.
Important: Please ensure that you are at the witnessing stage of your passport application before visiting us. We are here to witness your documents, not to assist with the application process itself.
All applications and enquiries regarding passports or Foreign Birth Registration should be directed to the relevant Irish government services.
Contact us on 0113 248 0887 to check whether someone is available to assist you. As our office prioritises work for the Irish Centre, we cannot always guarantee immediate availability for passport witnessing.
Make sure you have completed your passport application and are specifically at the stage where documents need to be witnessed. We cannot assist with earlier stages of the application process.
To avoid delays, please bring the following items with you:
